WRITTEN/ MULTIMEDIA CONTENT CREATOR ROLE
We are looking for a talented Content Creator who will help reinforce strategies and help us persuade, engage, organize and win. We seek to communicate to members, potential members, allies, donors, voters and community decision makers. Our ideal candidate is an excellent writer and multiplatform producer and editor. We are looking for a candidate strong in written and visual storytelling. Someone who is effective at producing through video, photos and graphic design. We are looking for someone creative and collaborative and who is quick to deliver compelling and shareable content. A deep commitment to social justice and racial equity rooted in building the power and leadership of community leaders is a must.
Duties for Content Creator Role
-Lead content/ storytelling/ communications strategy with our member base, donors and allies through engaging emails, short mailers, campaign infographics, short videos, and other methods of communication.
-Lead strategy, presence and engagement on social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram & Facebook, YouTube, and our webpage.
-Drafting and producing annual report, donor updates, issue briefings and fliers.
Qualities and Talents for Content Creator Role
-Exemplary writing and editing skills.
-Ability to frame ideas, develop stories and synthesize complex public policy issues in a creative way that appeals to a wide variety of audiences.
-Demonstrated experience with design, photography and video editing programs.

OPERATIONS COORDINATOR ROLE
Duties for Operations Coordinator Role
-Office and Financial management. Apply payments to accounts. Process expenses. Track incomes. Provide documentation to our bookkeeper. Maintain Dues database. Regular supply purchases. Tax database, tax for donations, coordinate and track documentations needed for the auditor and tax purposes. Coordinate with payroll service. Maintain / coordinate with insurance providers and vendors. Supporting annual individual donor campaigns through racking responses and communications, and coordinating thank you letters. Sending out member dues statements and tracking payments. Monitor phone messages.
-Database. Coordinating member contact, voter and donor database. Our database is Every Action/ VAN
-Supporting the Board/ Strategy Team (meeting notices, emails, Zoom links etc.), taking board notes, etc.
-Event Management. Team lead on logistics and coordination of events small (15 people), and large (1,000+). Both in person (socially distant until health requirements allow otherwise), and online on Zoom. Logistic coordination from conception, promotion to execution. Invitation, tracking RSVPs, venue, equipment rental, coordination of interpretation, printing materials, supplies, props, nametags, signage, refreshments. and everything needed for smooth execution.

-Computer literacy in all of the major platforms and is quick to learn on others.

Pay is competitive. We offer fully paid family health insurance for all full-time positions. After a minimum tenure we offer employer contribution to retirement and generous vacation. We offer some flexible hours. There are some times when you are required to be present for events, meetings, or to perform aspects of the work. But beyond that we provide a lot of flexibility in hours for employees with a track record for quality performance and meeting deadlines. We offer remote work or space in an office.
