Public Forum with Attorney General Karl Racine DOING JUSTICE IN DC:   How Communities of Faith Can Advocate for Marginalized Citizens  
Sponsored by the Homes-for-All Task Force of First Congregational and Cleveland Park Congregational UCC churches. Join faith communities from throughout the District of Columbia at a public forum featuring Attorney General Karl Racine. AG Racine will talk about:
  • The AG’s role in enforcing the city’s laws and regulations, particularly those related to low income housing and tenants’ rights;
  • Landlord-tenant relations, including the suits his office has filed against slumlords;  
  • Some of the challenges District officials face in ensuring bad actors are penalized; and
  • How communities of faith can support the AG’s work to help our DC neighbors in need.
