The DC Circulator Bus is privatized and the District is trying to award a $140M contact to RDMT, a Paris-based multinational corporation, to run the bus system for the next 5-20 years. RDMT has a record of violating labor law, intimidating workers ( including firing more than half our city Streetcar workers during their fight to unionize), and providing sub par wages and benefits. WIN believes this contract is not the best interest of our city or our workers. You can help ensure that 200 district workers do not lose their jobs, get good wages and benefits. Join WIN on June 18th to pack the hearing room and let the DC Council know that we want them to reject this contract.
