Prospective Organizer Familiarization Training. Once per year during college’s winter break, IAF schedules a 2-day training to introduce college students, leaders in IAF organizations and young professionals to careers in organizing. Training is invitation only. If interested in exploring a career as an IAF professional organizer, contact the lead organizer of the nearest IAF affiliate for information about this training. Attendees assume responsibility for transportation to the training site in the DC metropolitan area; IAF will pay for training, lodging and meals.
Other Training. IAF builds power by training and developing leaders as civic institutions focusing on the self-interest of leaders in the institutions. Organizers routinely conduct familiarization training for organizations membership in an IAF affiliate. Additionally, for leaders interested in strengthening their institution, IAF organizers and leaders will tailor training to address the unique interest of the specific organization.
Contact the organizing staff of the nearest IAF affiliate for costs and additional information on any of the above training opportunities.
